GILDA BELMONTE PRIEBE

GILDA BELMONTE PRIEBE , CPA, CIA, CFE, CGMA has over 25 years of financial audit, single audit, and compliance examination experience. Prior to joining Adelfia LLC, she worked for a local accounting firm based in Chicago since November 2001 and became a partner in January 2007. Prior to that, she had six years of combined audit experience as an assistant manager at a Big Four firm in Singapore and as a senior auditor at an accounting firm in the Philippines (member practice a Big Four accounting firm).

Gilda graduated magna cum laude from Aquinas University of Legazpi in the Philippines (now University of Santo Tomas – Legazpi) with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. She is a Certified Public Accountant both in USA (Illinois and California) and the Philippines, a Certified Internal Auditor, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and a Certified Global Management Accountant.

Gilda is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Internal Auditors, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and Illinois CPA Society. She is a peer reviewer under the AICPA Peer Review Program and currently a member of the Peer Review Alliance Report Acceptance Committee.

She has extensive knowledge of State and local government agencies, universities, non-profit organizations, and Medicaid Integrity programs having audit engagements performed on these entities. She also performed agreed-upon procedures, peer reviews, and other operational audits.
