JOB DUTIES:
Perform audits in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements; Understand accounting and audit issues, and tax implications, if applicable; Distinguish relevant and irrelevant information related to the audit and accounting tasks; Review and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls; Prepare workpapers that adequate document procedures performed to support conclusions reached; Prepare audit reports, findings, and recommendations; Supervise staff during fieldwork; Complete assigned tasks timely; and Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned; Complete timely assigned tasks; and Perform other miscellaneous duties and special projects as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Audit. Three (3) years of experience as an auditor/accountant. Travel is required 50-75% of the time, to various unanticipated client sites within the continental U.S., with each visit not lasting more than five (5) days. Applicants must report back to headquarters in Chicago, IL after each visit, and must reside within commuting distance of Chicago, IL.
