(Mavie) has over 30 years of combined experience in public accounting and industry. Prior to joining ADELFIA LLC, she worked for one of the Big Four firms and a local accounting firm based in Chicago. Mavie also worked for a major airline in the Philippines. Mavie graduated from Maryknoll College (Philippines) with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.
She took accounting credits at Devry University in Chicago. She is a licensed CPA in Illinois. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society, and the International Society of Filipinos in Finance and Accounting (ISFFA).
She has concentrated knowledge on International Tax Services focused on compliance issues associated with the operation of an international business. These services for outbound investment from the U.S. frequently include preparation of client assistance packages, preparation of financial information for foreign-owned subsidiaries, calculation of foreign tax credit information, overall foreign loss calculation, and foreign earnings and profits calculations. She also provided Assurance and Audit Services on various Private/Publicly held Companies, Government & Non-for-Profit Organizations.
Mavie worked with high-growth clients and other market leaders in industries such as financial services, retail/manufacturing, consumer products, insurance and employee benefit plans.
